Your role

As a Global Tender Specialist at Ahrend, you play an important role in winning complex international tenders. From one of our European offices, you work at the heart of our global commercial organisation, where customer ambition, design, sustainability and operational feasibility come together. You help turn international customer requests into clear, convincing and well-structured proposals that reflect the strength of Ahrend as a leading partner in vitalising workspaces. In this role, you bring overview, accuracy and energy to a process with many moving parts. You understand what is needed to create a strong tender response and know how to connect the right people, information and expertise across countries, departments and disciplines. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales and Global Key Account Managers throughout the full tender process, from initial request to final submission;
  • Translate customer requirements and tender criteria into compliant, competitive and compelling proposal content;
  • Coordinate input, planning, clarifications and deliverables across Sales, Finance, factories, design teams and regional specialists;
  • Create impactful presentation materials and manage the development of supporting visuals such as renders, mock-ups and mood boards;
  • Support pricing validation and margin checks in close collaboration with Sales and Finance;
  • Review, consolidate and submit tender documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely delivery.

What is your profile?

You are a well-organised and quality-driven professional who brings structure, ownership and calm to complex tender processes. With your proactive attitude and strong eye for detail, you know how to keep things moving without losing sight of accuracy and consistency. You enjoy working in an international environment, connecting with different stakeholders and supporting teams behind the scenes. Your curiosity helps you understand customer needs, technical possibilities and project challenges in depth, so you can contribute to strong and competitive tender submissions. We would also like to see the following in your profile:

  • At least 3 years of experience in international tenders, bids, sales support or complex B2B project coordination;
  • Strong understanding of product specifications and pricing structures with experience in interiors, furniture, fit-out or construction being a plus;
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft 365 and experience with AutoCAD and pCon is an advantage;
  • A strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to translate commercial insights into concrete actions;
  •  Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities and deadlines in a project-driven environment;
  • Fluency in English, additional languages are an advantage, willingness to travel when required and an interest in learning new tools and technologies, including AI.
