Your role

As a Global Key Account Manager, you will be the strategic partner for Royal Ahrend’s most prominent international clients. You strengthen our global presence by building long-term relationships at every level of the customer organisation and by engaging key influencers within the Architect & Design community, Project Management firms and Design & Build partners. With a strong commercial drive and a deep understanding of complex international decision-making, you translate customer ambitions into integrated workspace solutions that reflect Ahrend’s vision and design philosophy.
You take full ownership of the partnership: setting the strategic direction, safeguarding commercial excellence and ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience across all regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve long-term growth, revenue targets and global alignment across all customer locations;
  • Lead global commercial negotiations, ensuring competitive proposals and profitable terms that support sustainable partnership development;
  • Coordinate and oversee international project execution, ensuring seamless delivery in collaboration with local teams and external partners;
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing global accounts by expanding scope, services and geographic reach;
  • Monitor performance and financial results for each global account, ensuring profitability and accurate forecasting;
  • Build strong internal collaboration across countries and departments to deliver a consistent customer experience worldwide;
  • Represent Ahrend at global customer meetings and industry events, positioning our brand and solutions within relevant international networks.

You are a commercially driven and relationship-oriented professional who thrives in an international environment. With a natural ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, you build trust, create momentum and translate customer needs into long-term opportunities. Your communication style is confident and clear, and you combine strategic thinking with the hands-on mentality needed to drive results. You enjoy working independently, collaborate effectively across borders and are energised by representing Ahrend on a global stage.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Key Account Management, Business Development or International Sales, ideally with international clients;
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder accounts and achieving measurable revenue growth;
  • Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage both clients and internal management;
  • A strategic and analytical mindset, capable of translating commercial insights into concrete actions and structured account plans;
  • Experience working in a B2B, project-driven environment, preferably supported by CRM tools such as Salesforce;
  • Excellent command of English; additional languages such as French, German or Spanish are considered a strong advantage.
